 Al-Bustan Takht and Prometheus Chamber Orchestra Performing in our Musical Encounters Concerts Series last JuneIn partnership with the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Music and Greenfield Intercultural Center, Al-Bustan is pleased to present  an evening of Arabic songs and music performed by Penn Arab Music Ensemble, led by Music Director Hanna Khoury with Al-Bustan Takht and members of Prometheus Chamber Orchestra.We invite our Philadelphia area friends to join us for classical favorites such as Ya Nassim al-Rih and Lama Bada Yatathanna, as well as modern compositions arranged by our own Kinan Abou-afach in a joint performance by Al-Bustan Takht and Prometheus. And be prepared to see some serious skills from the Arab Percussion Ensemble led by Hafez Kotain!Stay for the post-concert reception and enjoy tea, light fare, and conversation!
