Tabadul: Classical Arab Meets Traditional Chinese

On Saturday March 11, 2017 at the Trinity Center for Urban Life, Al-Bustan presented the first of three performances part of the Tabadul: Cross-Cultural Music Series. The evening included the PETER TANG ENSEMBLE comprised of Wu Peter Tang on erhu and gaohu; Zhaoshun Guo on pipa and ruan; Xiannian Xiao on dulcimer alongside the Al-Bustan Tahkt Trio, comprised of percussionist Hafez Kotain, cellist and composer Kinan Abou-afach and Hanna Khoury on violin.
