Love-Hope-Peace Tiles into Greeting Cards by Moffet School Students

In Spring 2016, students at John Moffet Elementary School were immersed in art-making at Al-Bustan's Moffet Arab Arts After-School Program. Visual art teacher Lisa Volta introduced students to the words "love," "hope," and "peace" in Arabic and the work of Lebanese artist Zena El Khalil. This inspired the students to create collaged tiles for display in the school garden. Later in the year, we took four of the designs, by budding artists Abrar Ahmad, William Fernandez, Daimer Rodriguez, and Mikayla Parilla, and created these beautiful greeting cards printed on linen paper!  Contact us to purchase a single card or sets of four cards with envelops. Al-BustanGreetingCards-2016[morephotos]Click to see photos of tiles[/morephotos]
