A Message from Al-Bustan during Coronavirus

March 16, 2020

As we take stock of the rapidly unfolding changes in response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are mindful of the wellness and safety of the community we serve—our dedicated staff, teaching artists, students, school partners, community members, and supporters.

We have postponed our Friday Arts series of events this Spring, and closed our gallery space for the time being. Our team is exploring ways to transition our programming to virtual engagement. Please follow our social media posts and weekly newsletter for updates.

As this pandemic forces the world to slow down and to isolate, it's more apparent than ever how much we count on our amazing community to do important, creative work in schools, art studios, neighborhoods, community centers, and more.

We hope to be available as a source of comfort, collaboration, and community-building in these unsettling times.

Stay safe, healthy, and connected online!

—Al-Bustan Team
