Al-Bustan hosted acclaimed poet Naomi Shihab Nye for a visit at Philadelphia public schools on February 13, 2009. Ms. Nye gave a reading, talk, and writing workshop with students at John Moffet School, Feltonville School of Arts & Sciences, and Science Leadership Academy.
